The
University of Miami's School of Education
is dedicated to the preparation and continuing
education of professionals in teacher education,
counseling, exercise physiology, research & more.
The new
site focuses on recruiting the prospective undergraduate
student and providing a tool for existing students.
All content was reformatted and organized so
that the information may be displayed in a consistent
manner and accessed through countless channels
of navigation. Students are also able to print
dynamic pages of the site for their program
sheets.
All
information in this site is dynamically fed.
An intricate database structure was engineered
by FNSCOM enabling UM's School of Education
to maintain their own faculty, degrees, departments,
programs, projects, and over 350 classes.
This maintenance systems allows the School
of Education to have access to each and every
aspect of their site.
Mini sites
were also provided to faculty members to showcase
their own personal accomplishments. A student
intranet allows access to forms and program
sheets that were once only available as PDFs.
